🔗 How to Become an Affiliate & Get Your Link

Availability

  • Affiliate programs are optional.

  • Each business owner decides whether to enable affiliates.

Steps to Get Your Affiliate Link

  1. Go to the Business Home page.

  2. Look for the "Affiliate" or "Refer & Earn" section.

  3. If the section is not visible, the business has not enabled affiliates.

  4. Click to generate your unique affiliate link.

  5. Copy and share your link via:

    • Social media

    • Messaging apps (e.g., WhatsApp)

    • Email

💰 How Commissions Work

The amount you earn depends on the commission settings defined by the business owner.

1. Commission Rates

Each product displays a commission percentage (e.g., “Earn 20%”) next to the affiliate link.

Example: If a product costs $100 and the commission rate is 20%, you earn $20 for each successful purchase made through your link.

2. Recurring Subscriptions

If you refer a member to a monthly or yearly membership:

  • Default Behavior (Important):
Affiliate commissions are one-time by default. This means you earn a commission only on the first successful payment.

  • Recurring Commissions (Optional):
Some businesses may choose to offer commissions on every renewal.
However, this is not enabled by default. Business owners must contact Support to request recurring commissions.

  • Always Check Terms:
The exact commission structure (one-time vs recurring) will be clearly shown before you promote a product.

  • One-Time Products:
You earn a single commission immediately after the purchase.

3. Attribution

When someone clicks your affiliate link, a tracking cookie is stored on their device.

This allows the system to attribute the purchase to you, even if the user does not buy immediately.

If the purchase is completed within the cookie window (typically 30 days), you will still receive credit for the sale.

🌟 Tips: How to Maximize Earnings (Without Spamming)

Successful affiliates focus on providing value, not just sharing links. The following practices can help improve conversions:

Add context

Always explain why the product is useful. Instead of sharing a raw link, include a short explanation of what you learned or how it helped you.

Solve specific problems

Look for users asking relevant questions. Provide helpful guidance first, then share your affiliate link as a recommended resource.

Make links easy to access

Place your affiliate link in visible locations such as your profile bio, pinned posts, or content descriptions to increase passive traffic.

Be transparent

Clearly disclose that you are using an affiliate link. Transparency builds trust and improves conversion rates.

Know your audience

Promote products that are relevant to your audience’s interests. Relevance is more effective than broad or unrelated promotion.

🏦 Payouts: When & How You Get Paid

To receive your affiliate earnings, you must first link a valid personal or business bank account in your Affiliate Payout Settings.

Set Up Your Bank Account

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Affiliate.

  3. Click Payout.

  4. Under Bank details, click Set up now.

  5. Follow the prompts to add your personal or business bank account.

💡 PayPal is no longer supported for affiliate payouts.

Payout Requirements

  • A minimum balance of USD $10 (or your local currency equivalent) is required before a payout can be processed.

  • If your earnings do not meet the minimum threshold, your balance will automatically roll over to the next payout period.

Payout Schedule

Affiliate payouts are processed on the 16th of each month.

  • The payout period covers earnings from the previous month.

  • Once processed, payouts typically take up to 7 business days to reach your bank account.

🛑 Restrictions & Refunds

Affiliate restrictions:

  • Self-referrals are not allowed: You cannot use your own affiliate link to purchase a product. Such commissions will be flagged and rejected.

  • Restricted regions: Users in certain sanctioned countries may not be eligible to receive payouts due to banking regulations.

Refund handling:
If a customer you referred receives a refund approved by the business owner, the associated commission will be reversed.

This amount will be deducted from your affiliate balance.

If the commission has already been paid out, your balance may become negative to offset the refunded amount.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q. Who can join the affiliate program?

Only members of a business can become affiliates. If you are not yet a member, you must join the business first.

Q. What happens if a customer requests a refund?

If a sale is refunded or a chargeback occurs, the commission earned from that sale will be deducted from your affiliate balance.

Q. Can I earn from multiple businesses?

Yes. You can be an affiliate for multiple businesses, as long as each business has enabled its affiliate program.

Q. Does the buyer pay more when using an affiliate link?

No. The buyer pays the same price. The commission is deducted from the business owner’s revenue, not added to the customer’s cost.

Q. Why didn’t I receive a commission for a purchase?

This can happen if the buyer did not use your link, used another affiliate’s link later (last-click attribution), or cleared their browser cookies before completing the purchase.

Q. Is there a minimum payout amount?

Yes. Payout thresholds (e.g., $10 minimum) apply and may vary depending on your selected payout method. Refer to your payout dashboard for details.

Q. When are affiliate payouts processed?

Payouts are processed on the 16th of each month, with a standard processing time of up to 7 business days.

Q. What happens if multiple affiliate links are clicked?

The system uses last-click attribution. The affiliate whose link was clicked most recently before the purchase receives the commission.
