๐Ÿ‘ฅ Event Organizer: Checking In Attendees

If you're hosting an event, you can check in attendees directly from the Nas.com mobile app.

The check-in experience differs depending on the event type:

  • ๐Ÿ“ In-person events: Scan attendees' QR code tickets or check them in manually.

  • ๐Ÿ’ป Online events: Check attendees in manually from the attendee list, as QR code scanning is not required.

๐Ÿ“ Checking In Attendees for In-person Events

For in-person events, attendees receive a QR code ticket after registering.

To check attendees in:

  1. Open your event in the Nas.com mobile app.

  2. Tap Check in attendees.

  3. Scan the attendee's QR code ticket.

  4. If needed, tap Check in manually to search for and check in attendees without scanning.

After a successful scan, the attendee's status is immediately updated.

๐Ÿ“ฑ QR Code Scanner Statuses

When scanning attendee QR codes, the scanner displays different statuses depending on the result.

โœ… Checked in successfully

If the QR code is valid and the attendee has not yet been checked in, you'll see a success message confirming the attendee has been checked in.

โ„น๏ธ Already checked in

If the attendee has already been checked in, the scanner will notify you that the ticket has already been used.

โŒ Invalid QR code

If the QR code is invalid or cannot be recognized, the scanner will display an error message.

You can tap Scan again and try scanning the ticket once more.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: If scanning continues to fail, you can manually search for the attendee and check them in from the attendee list.

๐Ÿ’ป Checking In Attendees for Online Events

Online events do not use QR code tickets.

Instead, organizers can manually mark attendees as checked in.

To check attendees in:

  1. Open your online event.

  2. Tap Check in attendees.

  3. Select the attendee from the list.

  4. Tap Check in.

This updates the attendee's status without requiring QR code scanning.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip

For in-person events, QR code scanning is the fastest way to check attendees in.

For online events, attendee check-in is completed manually since no QR code tickets are issued.
