🙍🏻‍♂️ Member’s Perspective

Members can use a discount in two ways:

  • Using a direct link: If a member opens the community link or product link shared from the Discount page, the discount code is automatically applied at checkout.

  • Using the discount code: If a member doesn't have the direct link but has the discount code, they can enter it manually under Add discount code on the checkout page and select Apply.

Once applied, the checkout shows the discount and the updated total.

📝 In Summary

Nas.com lets business owners create and manage free trials and discount codes from Money → Discount. You can choose what each promotion applies to, configure options such as trial duration, discount percentage, redemption limits, and validity dates, and offer free shipping for eligible physical products. After creating a promotion, you can view its status and redemptions, duplicate or disable discount codes, and share direct links with customers. Members can use a direct community or product link to have the discount applied automatically, or enter the discount code manually at checkout.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can a member cancel during the free trial?

Yes. Members can cancel anytime during the trial and won’t be charged.

Q: When does a free trial start in application-based businesses?

It starts after the business manager approves the member’s application.

Q: Will members know when their free trial is ending?

Yes. Nas.com sends an email 3 days before the trial ends.

Q: Can discount codes be created without an expiration date?

Yes. Discount codes can remain active without an expiration date. When creating a discount code, you can either:

  • Set a validity period, or

  • Leave Set validity unchecked so the code remains active until you disable it.

This is useful for evergreen offers, long-term partnerships, or private promotions.

Q: Can I stop or cancel a member’s free trial manually?

No. Free trials run automatically based on the trial duration you set.

As a business owner, you can’t manually end a member’s free trial early. However, you can remove a member from your business at any time. If you remove them during their trial, they will lose access and won’t be charged when the trial ends.

Q: Will the discount be applied automatically when a member uses a link?

Yes. If a member opens a community link or product link copied from the Discount page, the discount is automatically applied at checkout.

If they don't have the direct link but have the discount code, they can enter the code manually at checkout.

Q: Can I see who used a discount code?

Yes. Open the discount code from Money → Discount to view its redemptions and see the members who used the code.

Q: Can I create and manage discounts on mobile?

Yes. You can create and manage free trials and discount codes on both Desktop and the mobile app.

💻 Note: The Free trial filter in the Community → Members tab is currently available on Desktop only.
