🔥 Quick Summary
A Challenge on Nas.com is a structured activity where members complete a series of tasks or goals over time. Challenges can include checkpoints, instructions, attachments, submission forms, and optional engagement features such as a Leaderboard and Challenge Feed.
You can create two types of Challenges:
Fixed Dates: The Challenge has a specific start and end date, and participants follow the same schedule.
Always-On: Members can join at any time and progress through the Challenge based on when they join.
In this guide, you'll learn how to create and set up a Challenge, including choosing the Challenge type, adding checkpoints, setting pricing, customizing the sales page, and publishing it.
📺 Challenge Overview
Here's a quick overview of how Challenges work and what the experience looks like for members.
⭐ Choose Your Challenge Type
Before creating your Challenge, decide whether you want it to be Fixed Dates or Always-On.
Fixed Dates: Use this when everyone should start and finish the Challenge on the same dates. The Challenge has a specific start and end date.
Always-On: Use this when members should be able to join at any time. Each member progresses through the Challenge based on when they join.
Example: A 30-day fitness program where everyone starts on January 1 → Fixed Dates.
A 30-day program that members can purchase and start whenever they want → Always-On.
⚠️ Important: Choose your Challenge duration carefully. Once a Challenge is created, you can't change it between Fixed Dates and Always On. This also applies if you duplicate an existing Challenge—the duplicated Challenge keeps the same duration type.
✨ Step 1: Start Creating Your Challenge

Click + Create in the upper-right corner.

💡 Tips for a Successful Challenge
Keep these tips in mind when planning your Challenge:
🎯 Keep it focused: Give participants a clear, specific outcome rather than trying to cover too much.
⏱️ Keep checkpoints short: Aim for simple tasks that participants can complete quickly and consistently.
🚀 Start with engagement: Encourage a few members to participate early so the Challenge doesn't feel empty when it launches.
🏆 Use Gamification: Enable points and the leaderboard to encourage participation and friendly competition.
💬 Encourage interaction: Use the Feed or a group chat to celebrate progress and keep participants engaged.
💎 Consider an Upsell: Give participants a relevant next step after they join or complete a checkpoint, such as purchasing another product or membership.
➡️ Plan the next step: Think about what you want participants to do after completing the Challenge, such as joining a membership, purchasing another product, or booking a call.
📝 In Summary
Setting up a Challenge involves creating your Challenge, choosing a duration type, adding and customizing checkpoints, configuring optional features such as Welcome Checkpoints, Upsells, and Gamification, setting up your sales page and other options, and publishing when everything is ready.
Choose your duration type carefully, as you can't change a Challenge between Fixed Dates and Always On after it has been created, even if you duplicate it.
Once published, you can use the Marketing, Participants, and Feed tabs to promote your Challenge, track participant progress, and engage with your community.
